Our Persimmon Butter is the taste of fall in the Ozarks, when wild persimmons ripen and their golden orange fruit is at the peak of flavor. After we hand-gather and press the pulp from wild persimmons, we slow-cook each batch with cane sugar and lemon juice until the texture is thick and velvety. Like all our jams and spreads, our Persimmon Butter is made artisanal style, in small batches that are carefully prepared, monitored closely to avoid overcooking, and then hand-poured at the batch's flavor peak.
