1/2 Cup Persimmon Hill Farm Honey
1/2 Cup Butter, softened
Optional: Cinnamon or Vanilla to taste
Put room temperature, softened butter in a small bowl and beat until fluffy. Add honey and continue to beat until blended. Add 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or 1 tsp. vanilla, if desired). Serve with warm biscuits, toast or cornbread, or atop waffles or pancakes - no syrup needed! Store in the refrigerator.
Important to note: Always use real butter - you can't beat the flavor and it doesn't have trans fat. Use our pure, 100% natural honey or other mild, wildflower honey for this recipe. Some recipes call for cinnamon or vanilla, and you can add it if you like, but try the honey butter first without it. It really doesn't need an add-in. Many recipes call for a higher percentage of butter than honey, but I prefer equal parts so you really taste the honey. Find the balance you prefer!
